Year 6 Trip to Canterbury 2015

Please enter an introduction for your news story here.
Year 6 boys recently took a trip to visit Canterbury Cathedral. They had a fun day and had opportunities to dress up in costumes such as monks, knights and the King of England himself. A fascinating guided tour gave the boys the opportunity to see the spot where Thomas Beckett was murdered and re-enact the crime itself.
They also looked at the Cathedral in detail and had a chance to carve their initials into a limestone block, giving them the feel of the job of the stonemasons and learnt a little about how the cathedral would have been built.
