Chinese New Year in Pre-Prep
‘Gung Hei Fat Choy’! Pre-Prep have enjoyed taking part in lots of Chinese New Year activities this week and wearing red has taken on a new meaning for the teachers! It has been good to see our boys trying out different foods and participating in dragon dances and ‘rooster’ themed art and craft.
We are also looking forward to a number of other special festivals after half term. Please remember to get started on your Spring gardens. The House competition will close on Thursday 16th March in time for our display at the Easter bazaar. Please also diarise our annual pancake races on Shrove Tuesday 28th February, 9:00am on the Prep school field or Pre-Prep playground.
Many thanks to Mrs Baker (Max in 2H and Theo in Nursery) who came to talk to the Year 2 boys about Shabbat, and also to Mr Grubb (Isaac in the Nursery), and Daniel Beck’s (Shell P) grandparents who imparted their palaeontology expertise to the EYFS boys as they immerse themselves in their ‘Dinosaur’ topic! Thank you for sharing in the boys’ learning journey.
