Snippets for the week commencing Monday 12 October 2020.

2C drew spooky castles!

Last week year 1 were looking at directional language. In Boyzone they had to create a route and explain how to move around.
Year 1 have been investigating their sense of taste.  They tried different flavours of crisps to see if they could guess the flavour.
2H in Boyzone, acting out The Bayeux Tapestry.
Shell P took part in an experiment to see if different liquids could stop an apple from turning brown. The slices of apple were put in sealed jars in the following liquids and left for a week: air, vinegar, lemon juice, water, milk, baking powder solution. All the slices of apple had turned colour except the one in lemon juice. We then recorded our findings.
2C have been busy using watercolours to paint scenes from the Bayeux Tapestry as part of their topic on Castles.
Year 1 have been creating art Kandinsky style!
Year 5 enjoying their games lesson with some excellent photos taken by Max, 5F.
