Snippets for the week commencing Monday 5 October 2020.

Having painted their trees, Shell P enjoyed sticking leaves on their Autumn pictures.

2H had a great time exploring number outside in the Boyzone. We have been learning about using the symbols greater than > and less than <
In their studies of the Human Body, Y4 have been learning about the skeleton. The boys had the chance to see whether the person with the biggest foot was the best person to do the long jump.
1H wrote letters to persuade their teacher to allow Beegu the lost alien to stay at our school. They were very surprised to receive a letter back from Beegu's parents, written on a spaceship. They made clay models of Beegu.  
Year 1 have been investigating their senses. This week they conducted an experiment to “Guess the smell”. They smelt garlic, lemon, lavender, chocolate and “yucky” vinegar.  
Lanesborough Prep were lucky to be joined by the Match of the Day presenters during Wednesday's assembly. Gary (Mr Dwyer), Alan (Mr Divers) and Ian (Mr Saville) summarised each year group's league, discussed magic moments and highlighted stand out performances.
