Snippets for the week commencing January 20 2020.

Mrs Heath-Taylor leads a whole school assembly on Friday marking, ‘World Snowman Day’ – giving boys across the school an opportunity to work as a team to build snowmen without real ‘snow’!
Year 1 have been researching Arctic animals this week and made their chosen animal out of clay in their art lesson.

Year 8 had an amazing day this Sunday. One of the biggest games of Saracens season after some recent bad news. A great experience for the boys, that ended in a very special way,  with Owen Farrell (England Captain) giving his playing shirt to Henry Bedford.
Year 2 were challenged to create a play dough map of the United kingdom, and then label the areas and capital cities
Year 4 boys had some interesting visitors on Wednesday. Geoff and Juliet led an enlightening workshop on the history and practices of Buddhism.
Year 6 have blended numeracy with History by analysing statistics on main European powers in 1914, in order to judge which countries and which alliances were the most powerful at the time of the outbreak of World War One.
