Year 8 Trip to the Opera
Our Year 8s were taken to the Royal Opera House to see II Trovatore.
‘Wow, that was intense!’ I heard Edgar exclaim as Year 8 emerged from watching Il Trovatore from the stalls seating of the Royal Opera House. And it was! The boys were gripped by the drama, singing, music and vivid settings and many were completely effusive about the experience. The boys were a credit to Lanesborough throughout and, thanks to Mr. Loubser’s speed and canny knowledge, we had the best benches for lunch in the interval!
