Year 4 Activities Week

Snippets for Activities Week.

Lego construction.

Tuesday

Year 4 enjoyed a sunny day on Box Hill today learning about the artwork of Andy Goldsworthy - a British sculptor, photographer and environmentalist. The boys explored the woods in the morning and, using special nature art eyes, looked closely at the textures, patterns and colours created by their natural surroundings. In the afternoon, we split into groups to create our own natural art installations, using materials found around us in the woodland. The centre were impressed with the boys' enthusiasm and impressive presentations of their artwork at the end of the day! Photos of the boys' artwork to follow soon.

Wednesday

An excited Year 4 are ready for their residential trip this morning! See you Friday!
"How do you enter an Egyptian tomb?"

Year 4 have safely arrived in New Barn and enjoyed the Tutankhamen museum en route!
Settling into our dorms at New Barn this evening! Lovely tidy room ... wondering how long this will last!

Thursday
